It’s a shame that this atrocity is often overlooked. I am Japanese-American, born & raised in the U.S. and it wasn’t until my early 20s w/ my own research did I learn about this. My father lost his best friend, like a brother, when he & his family were ripped from Oah’u and sent to a California camp. Dad never heard from him again & it haunted him until he died! These were AMERICANS! No words for the shame of this cowardly act on innocent citizens!
A few words... teach this mistake in our public schools, in our churches, our synagogues. We need to own our mistakes. Teach our children the real history of this country. Make our wrongs right so...not to ever repeat them.
