You're wrong. If Trump gets his way after showing he is willing to hold Feds and contractors as hostage, he'll shut down the government every damn time he doesn't get his way. He's NOT a dictator. He cannot use shutdowns to get his way. He's doing this for Putin. No doubt at all.

What about the deal they had before the shutdown? Also the dems have voted more than twice to re open the government with the GOP Senate plan, and McConnell will not bring it to a vote again, so who is keeping the government closed that's right McConnell and he is a Republican.

It's a different house but the same Senate. So why didn't the previous house and Senate pass Bill's that would have funded the wall?? They were both controlled by the GOP. So why now it has to be funded now?

Well I spoke to a lady on the phone yesterday who was of spanish decent, husband works for border patrol. She has a different view. Have you been down there? Its bad Have you traveled outside the US. If you don't have your papers in order you won't get in and out. #BuildTheWall

My family literally owns a ranch less than 100 miles from the border in West Texas. Illegal immigration is not, and has never been, a problem there.

I didn't assume anything, and I have a friend who has a ranch 5 miles from the border. She says they walk up hungry and thirsty time and again. But my friend of many years also says that while she doesn't feel threatened because she is armed other places are and need a wall!
