The “Real” fight or argument is not about whether a wall is good or bad for border security. Every rational thinking person knows that it is an effective deterrent to illegal entry. It is about not allowing President Trump any policy changes in any area.

'an' effective deterrent - but not the only one. There are dozens of deterrents, and many of them are cheaper, and more effective. Half of US illegal migrants come by plane - your effective border security for that portion is zero, if all the funds go to a wall.
-
Yeah but the other "half" coming across by foot and not plane would no longer enter. 50% reduction! Bam! Once a wall is built the cost to maintain is minimal compared to the continual costs of other deterrents.Hard pressed to say something's more effective than a physical barrier
-
Did the budget for this wall include purchasing the 5000-odd lots required for the rights to build on the land, or for the legal bills arising from the contesting of this garnish? Historically, getting the land takes decades and quite a hefty legal bill.
-
That's where the House of Representatives come in to make the laws in furnish the money to do it

I grew up 30 miles from the Texas border. My solution: Build the wall & fill the Rio Grande with Alligators. And stop punishing US citizens, open OUR government. Illegal aliens do not have any US rights, they are not US citizens.

Then put trump in there.

trump is a malignant narcissist who doesn't care about anyone but himself. He will do anything to get what he wants and prove he is right, including driving this country into the ground. This is not remotely about "trying to protect the US". He doesn't care about the damage to us

Protect us from what and whom? You must watch the video to educate yourself. It is so sensible and practical.

If he really wanted to protect the border from whatever the threat may be he could get the Dems to give him basically unlimited money for drones and satellites and sensors and agents and all that other stuff that’s better than a wall. But he doesn’t. He wants power.

What part of San Diego does Scott Peters live in? He doesn’t represent us in South San Diego! He doesn’t know this area. He didn’t live here when illegals were in our yards and parks and schools. Fact is since a wall has been placed, all that has disappeared.

Nobody is talking about Mueller, Russia, or Cohen. Everyone is talking about Trump, and his wall. And Trump saw that it was good... We all know he doesn't care about the people not getting paid. All he cares about is himself.
