When Democrats took the majority, we promised to listen to good ideas, wherever & whomever they came from. That’s why we voted to pass the GOP language to re-open government that the Senate already passed. But they still they refuse to take "yes" for an answer. #EndTheShutdown

Democrats are doing this by ignoring the needs and requests if the border agencies. Our entire system needs help, this funding isn't just for the wall but these agencies are requsting more fencing and they are inoring it. Its hilarious that politicians and media who never set

False. Democrats have given money for border security and fencing and Trump hasn’t used most of it because he can’t build a wall with it.

It's actually the Senate Republicans who are holding up the vote in the Senate since the Democrats already passed a government funding bill in the House. Since it's not mandatory to have government funding and wall funding on the same bill, it's on the GOP this time.

Considering the fact that veto override by Congress will bring government funding and that after declaring an emergency, the moving of funds can be blocked by the courts, the wall is not likely to happen during Mr. Trump's term unless he offers something substantial in exchange.

@realDonaldTrump waited until he no longer had a Republican House to get his unnecessary wall built so that he could in turn place all blame on the Democrats for not completing HIS campaign promises. -
