No. They already compromised on border security. Trump said he would sign it. It cleared the Senate with unanimous consent by voice vote. Then Trump tuned in Fox News and decided not to sign it anymore. He said he would be proud to shut it down. What is there to compromise on?

Nevertheless, there still must be compromise. Doesn’t change the need to do it. You can say No all you want. Doesn’t help reopening the government.

They did compromise though. They passed a bill for security that Trump said he would sign. Then he decided not to sign it and shut down the government. Pelosi and the Democrats compromised. Trump didn't. He doesn't deserve any more compromise now.

The solution is wait till the Democrats take back the house and force the government open. Whether that's by removing Trump from office or not idc. He doesn't deserve any more compromise after refusing to sign a bill that he had stated he would sign

Doesn’t Congress also need to shoulder the responsibility also? Why in TF did they wait until the last minute to fund the government? And this is the 3rd Shutdown. Everyone needs to do better!

As a Republican, I can finally come clean and say I do not support the President. He lied about Russia, the Wall and Mexico hasn't paid anything for the Wall. Trump, release the John Chocha Files immediately.
