I’m watching Michael Moore in Lawrence O’Donnell and he’s 
correct. The wheels have come off and we are heading to the cliff. Secretary Mattis should not have resigned...he was the sane voice we needed. This madman is in charge and we are all frightened.
I wish #Mattis hadn’t resigned, but I think he had to. That he felt he had to is going to scare other sane, sober people, some of them with power to bring this to an end. I’m going out to get a flag patch to pin upside down on my jacket: America’s in distress.

Sorry Nancy, the letter is hollow for me. Three Generals and one Admiral permitted their reputations and honor to be used to prop up and lend credibility to a monstrous traitor to our country. Ambition and ego forced the violation of their sacred oaths. Mattis is disgraced.
We need impeachment asap. He won't be able to get a competent person to head DOD.
Not Once does Mr Mattis thank Trump. He barely acknowledges him in this letter of resignation. This is very telling. I also wonder if there is another plan for Mattis.
