At a time when there is so much uncertainty about the economic security of working families, it is deeply disturbing that @realDonaldTrump is threatening a #TrumpShutdown. This is far from the treatment American families deserve during the holiday season.

There is plenty of data showing more effective border security measures than an expensive wall, including the package offered to Trump. Most illegal immigrants come by plane.
