Idea Pelosi if you are up for true across the aisle work. Have a chair from each party and take turns heading the daily meetings. Also each year both parties nom a new never served House and Senate Majority and minority leaders. And Term limits of two two year terms in both.

In that way before you leave you will actually have a great legacy of reform within the legislature that would guarantee no more power grabs and corruption. No more payoffs. Average folk would need to run for office with only two two year terms.

Overall it’s time that you start grooming some young democrats for leadership roles. Look at the ages of the hierarchy in the party. Now is also the time to get behind youthful 2020 candidates for the POTUS run, NOW. We need a candidate that is vibrant, passionate, and popular.

We need more women in positions of leadership and power especially minority women. White males are vastly disproportionately over represented in these positions.
