Pelosi is a great leader. She helped passed the ACA that almost every Democrat running for the House used to win votes. She Helped win 38 seats to the House. She will make a great speaker. She needs to be a transitional figure tho, eventually paving the way for a newer leader
-
She’s not that great of a leader, which is why recent red waves have been bigger than blue waves. 2018 was the best year for Democrats since 2006... but Republicans beat that in 2014 and 2010. Someone who could drive the base is what Democrats need right now.
-
No. Dems do worse than Republicans bc of Gerrymandering and bc of the 1911 law that limited the number of seats in the House, which means big states like CA get proportionally fewer seats than small states like Alabama
-
One House member used to represent about 50,000 people, now they represent over 270,000 people. The system is broken.
-
The "Founding Fathers" Didn't create our present Electoral College. The 1911 Congress did. If we used the EC created by the FF, Trump would have lost.

Conservatives speak as if though the Constitution is this sacred document that cannot be touched, but do they know that there have been countless constitutional amendments since begin of the nation. And States like Louisiana have changed their constitutional like 11 times.
