I was just reminded that the Speaker of the House is 3rd in line for the presidency. So if 45 and Pence were to be impeached, @NancyPelosi would step in as President. All the more reason to keep her (and her level of experience) as Speaker of the House.

Impeached and removed. Clinton was impeached and he stayed in place. Then the tide turned and those who pushed for impeachment lost big in the next election. Just something to think about.

Yes, I agree. This isn’t a push for impeachment. Rather, a reminder of who will take the reigns should the Mueller investigation implicate 45 and Pence enough for impeachment and removal with citizen support.

I'm a lifelong Democrat and very grateful to all the wonderful work you've done. You should be thinking about setting up the next generation of leadership for the Party and you should not seek the Speaker position. Sacrifice for the US - that's what service is, right?
