Yet it’s impossible to recognize this anniversary without acknowledging Trump’s hateful ban on transgender Americans serving in the military of the nation they love. This vile policy belongs in the ash heap of history, along with #DADT.

I was amazed, throughout the '16 election and folks getting angry all over again at the Clintons for DADT, at how many didn't know its history as an attempt to enable LGBT to safely serve. It failed b/c compromise w/those opposed was doomed, but its original goal wasn't punitive.
Is that your crowning achievement? Do the country a favor and go home. You’ve got to be at least 85 know? Enough is enough.
