I applaud the courage of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford to come forward to share her story. As we continue to learn more about these allegations against Judge Kavanaugh, we must ensure that Dr. Ford’s rights to justice & privacy are respected. #PostponeTheVote
Survivors should be supported when they come forward without the fear of threats or further trauma. There must be an acknowledgement of the life-long impact of this episode, the cost to the family of coming forward & the gravity of a lifetime Supreme Court nomination.
Failure to postpone this vote without due process & a thorough investigation into these serious & credible allegations would be a dereliction of Congress' duty to demand zero tolerance of sexual harassment & abuse.
I don't want this guy in that position, but judging him for something he might have done in high school is a bit much. Many of us have done things as a teenager or a young adult that we regret or wish we could do over. This is too much and I am democrat.
Sexual crimes when a teenager are different from something like drug abuse or stealing. Sexual predators don't just offend once. It's a deviance that is set and a character deficiency that is part of their make up. Sexual crimes are not in the category of 'youthful indiscretions"
Then there should be other women who can verify his behavior. Republicans put Trump in office who is a sexual predator, do you really believe they will care about something he may have done as a teenager? Right is right, and I don't like the feel of this.

Absolutely I am glad she came forward, but waited 30 years. Did she tell anyone else? Was Brett Kavanaugh the popular kid in school that nobody would go against...Let her go before Congress so we can get all the answers in this courageous story
Please remember it was an act of terror and trauma against her. It is NOT easy to speak out, even years later. I know from my own experience. 4 out of 5 women were abused as children. Give some grace.
I was beat till bloody as a child trust me I know both physical and psychological abuse...he was a judge before, why not get him off the bench before now...the guy that killed my mother... I wouldn’t wait till he was running for Congress to bring it up.
