Just because profits are rising doesn't mean the economy is. The only way to improve the economy is to increase wages, which increases buying power, which increases sales. This will be a short-term gain if wages don't eventually start rising. Profits and stock prices will drop.

The current profits are artificially inflated due to the tax breaks. It doesn't reflect increase in sales. Stock prices rise with profits. Sales rise with wages. If sales do not increase, then prices will drop, profits will flatline and stock prices to fall back.
-
And most Americans can't buy food with increased stock prices.

wealthy corporations would still be wealthy corporations regardless. when wealthy corporations get taxed more it doesnt get put into working class citizens bank accounts.
-
So...them getting taxed less is better? Trump added what a TRILLION dollars to the debt.
-
if they get taxed less and it brings companies back to the U.S. & creates more jobs, yes, that is better. If they get taxed less allowing more room for expansion, creating more jobs, yes, that is better. There will always be some1 more wealthy u. taxing them more wont change that
-
No theyre not coming back to US. Yes, some are creating jobs, OUTSIDE of US.

YOU need to tell the people what is at stake if we don't take control. They will CUT medicare and Social security and public education and anything they want to pay for those tax breaks. GOP has been on short leash because of midterms but if they remain in power WE ARE SCREWED.
