4 people died in Benghazi and the GOP-led Congress spent $8million+ on a 3 year investigation that involved more than 62 hours of hearings. 3,000 people died in Puerto Rico, and the GOP-led Congress literally hasn't said a word about it.

Getting the airport and shipping back in gear allowed people to flee this shambles of a island. Those still there are those who choose to be there for a time. Forced evac will most likely be the next step. The place needs flattened and rebuilt into a eco tourist spot for cruises.

Are you kidding me? Flattened? Nearly 3000 people died because of inadicuate help. Everyone could see what was happening and it’s ok for you to blame the island because it was in a financial crisis? These are human beings. People lost their lives!

People lost their lives after the fact because they stayed. You can't be elderly with health problems and stay without electricity. The grid was broken and not maintained not because of finances. It was because of corruption of local dem politicians. This has gone on for decades.

I was able to buy an $800 plane ticket to get my grandfather out of the island 4 weeks after the hurricane and took him straight to the emergency room. He would have died in 3 days otherwise. Flights were full for weeks and not everyone had the $$ to pay for a ticket

With emergency rescue with a pre storm move the costs are part of the military budget and FEMA. This decision has to come from the head of the island. Old people with health issues or vunerable to health issues should never live on a rickety island. Grandpa blessed to have u.
