I'm a democrat living in what I thought was "land of the free" not the abridged! Once again an act of violence brings out calls to punish those that never pulled the trigger. Punish a person for a crime not people for an ability to commit a crime. Freedom anyone?
My thoughts are with everyone impacted by the shooting today at the Jacksonville Landing — but thoughts are not enough. As we continue to track developments, it’s clear Congress must stop stalling & act to protect Americans from the daily tragedy of gun violence. #NeverAgain

What's good for the goose is not good for the gander. @NancyPelosi why don't you lead by example and make your office a gun free zone to include your security teams (then announce it). No guns at all. With your logic that should make your office safer for you and your team.

Its reasons like this why I left this party. Why do you want to make it harder for good people to protect themselves? Why not focus on cleaning up the illegal guns that are killing our children in big cities daily??

Hey braindead, it was a gun free zone, meaning illegal to have the firearm. It is also illegal to murder someone, and illegal to inflight bodily harm. Laws didn't stop him. Why not address the real problem, why do people suddenly believe this behavior is ok?
