Trump shouldn't be able to appoint any SCOTUS justice or lower court judge because the legitimacy of his presidency is questionable at best. Unless and until he's cleared of any and all conspiracy with Russia, and obstruction of justice, NO Trump nominees should get hearings.

Yes but Trump's legitimacy is up in the air. Just because he's not yet indicted, tried and convicted doesn't mean he's actually innocent. He *could* be proven guilty-then what? Best to suspend all judicial appointments, esp a SCOTUS appointment that will be a crucial swing vote.

I'm saying- because Trump is being investigated for conspiring with a hostile foreign power to subvert our 2016 election, and he's quite possibly an illegitimate president, that he shouldn't be able to make permanent judicial appointments. You know nothing about what Mueller has.
