I agree, and the only way to protect the AMERICAN VOTER is requiring a voter ID
-

-
I would make you a deal. You get voter ID. And I get them issued for life at age 16 in high school or upon exit from high school which ever occurs first. They are entered into computer so the individual can still vote if actual card is lost. Deal?
-
16 is to young to vote, no life experience, no responsibility to others and not self supportive.
-
No one suggested 16-year-olds be allowed to vote. Only that their card be issued at that time. We give 16-year-olds social security cards now. That doesn't mean that they can start collecting social security.
-
In that case they can be issued at birth the same time they get their Social security card, as long as the parents are legal citizens. Sorry for misunderstanding you.
-
No problem. Actually that is an even better idea since that would include people who do not attend traditional schools or drop out before age 16. Under current law it wouldn't depend on their parents status as citizens since babies born here are automatically citizens.
-
and that would have to change because the policy is abused to much

Why restore the vote? no actual citizens have any issues with voting besides people who have no right to vote in state and federal elections trying to do so.
-
Maybe you don't have a problems with gerrymandering, voter suppression and international interference with our elections, but I most certainly do.
-
And it was the last president that had the DOJ stand down on Cyber security during the 2016 election and than told the public there was no evidence of anyone interfering in the election because he thought his side was sure to win.
-
Relevance to current situation? Just because one president makes a mistake, shouldn't mean that we are ever bound to the consequences.
-
The relevance would be that Everytime Trump is accused of being wrong and a threat to America or the world it is for the same thing Democrats have done for years with utter silence.

A driver license is not a voter ID. A conceal carry permit is not a voter ID. Your voter registration card is your voter ID because not everyone drives or carries a gun.
-
An
doesn't have to be a drivers license! -
What IDs have your picture on it. Some student IDs have pics, but guess what? In Texas there not excepted. I wonder why?
-
Dept. Of motor vehicles has a picture ID, then there is the new REAL ID

Fight or get out of the way Nancy. Those who think we need to tolerate racists are part of the problem.

Again Nancy, stay in the shallow end. You’re out of your depth. SCOTUS doesn’t make law. They determine constitutionality. A document you should read sometime.
