If the pre-existing conditions protection isn’t kept in place, we’ll be right back to any severe diagnosis, like cancer, being a death sentence - whether the disease kills you or not. Even if you survive medically, it means losing everything you have - and that is just wrong!

How do they gain anything by taking away our pre-existing condition coverage? Unless they’ve been paid off by insurance companies?

You might remember that insurance companies did not oppose ACA. They gained 30 million healthy people to cover in exchange for giving up their terrible practices of excluding coverage for folks who needed it.

Not all of us. Some of us already have a pre-existing condition. I had 3 surgeries to deal with 2 brain tumors. I may need radiation. I can’t imagine dealing with all of that without good insurance.
