If you call buybacks and increasing shareholder dividends a win for the average worker, you're being misled. Plus, many of the companies that promised more jobs like Harley and Walmart, closed locations.
FYI companies buying back their stocks is a good thing. . it means the company has money to reinvest in itself..
Most were already making record profits, why did they to buyback? Why not actually pay workers more? It's not rocket science.
