No American parent "has" to go to jail, unless he/she broke a law... Which is a choice. Seeking asylum is not against the law. These parents were coming for HELP, and we arrested them. Very different.

Yes, separating children from their parents is just what the Nazis did to Jewish families in the concentration camps; it is what the Vietcong did to boat people families trying to flee in the 70s. It's needlessly cruel and those are not American values

You do realize that 10,000 of those 12,000 kids in detention right now came across the border alone. And some of the others came across not with a parent but supposably a relative or someone pretending to be their parent.
