The NJ Legislature chose to raise the minimum wage to $15/hr in an effort to alleviate poverty and make economic security more achievable for our residents. Families need to be able to support themselves on their wages. Every employee deserves fair compensation.

A year ago, both Houses of the Legislature approved a bill to raise NJ's minimum wage. As of now, employees earn $11/hr, which will only continue to rise until reaching $15 in 2024. The end result will be a more livable wage for everyone in our state.
