The video from this weekend in Ocean City is deeply disturbing. Vaping on the Boardwalk is not a criminal offense. Black and brown children should not be tased while their hands are up. Officers should not kneel on the back of a minor. Vaping should not yield a hog tie.

Each of these actions is why the Maryland General Assembly passed police reform this year. I urge Ocean City officials to make review of this incident a top priority, dismiss the overzealous charges against this young man and reform or retrain officers on use of force immediately

This is exactly what you get when you let a billionaire and the Pharma Industry buy policy that targets minorities, indigenous peoples, low incomes and the LGBTQ community, based on lies no less. You reap what you sow. In the UK they promote their use, even in hospitals. We taze.

This is causality by your actions with your anti-vaping stance you have had a direct effect on the outcome in Ocean City Maryland.

Pretty confident that prohibitionist policies lead to interactions like this for minorities and police. You would think we would have learned from the war on: alcohol, thc, firearms, etc etc. But we haven't, we keep repeating the same mistakes in the name of "public good"

There were no minors arrested and vaping on the boardwalk is a criminal offense. Rules are rules for a reason and must be enforced especially in a family-friendly atmosphere. Scary that we have people like this in the Maryland General assembly.
