I wouldn't say 'diagnose' dementia - rather something like detect suspected dementia.

I think that's a fair comment as often families when reflecting will say this isn't the first time they've been 'confused' I guess

Like when a patient is described as 'still confused' - when their delirium has resolved but they remain disorientated because of dementia.
