It never occurred to me, in my deep, deep dive into uk black metal on bandcamp, that some old punk bands from the 80’s and 90’s would be on there.
Just bought one of the greatest albums (day the country died, Subhumans) and a 3 disc fucking culture shock set. Happy as fuck.
Thought i was out of space for my rogues shelf, but that legacy Galvatron figure was very cheap in tk Maxx and I couldn’t resist!
(Still need to move the transformers x men mash up at some point, wrong shelf!)

Got a new axe from Raven Forge as part of their mystery axe sale.
It’s a bit of a beauty.

I lost a game to my 12 year old nephew for the first time yesterday.
I’ll be making no further comment at this difficult time.

I really don’t have much interest in D&D - but I probably should, seeing as the animated series was a favourite as a kid. I had to pick these figures up - they look awesome!

Captain Janeway bust bought with some Christmas money, taking her rightful place on the Worf DS9 table.

First day off today for the Christmas period, decided to treat myself to some treats on the sega shop, including the Kiryu figure and some more dc cushions!
Going to grab some stuff on steam, Gog and some random black metal albums later on I think.

Wife bought me a DS9 table which is amazing - and the perfect place to host a little Tribute to the greatest character of all time.

Bought parts for my first ‘new’ pc in around 10 years. Will still cannibalise the old one for power supply. Old case was a dust magnet in a carpeted room - no worries about that now. Just the spiders. The hundreds and hundreds of spiders.

So just tried out a mega drive 2 I bought a while back. Seems to only play limited sound and plays later mega drive games slowly. Not a problem I’d experienced before. Anyone have any clues? (Or failing that, a spare mega drive 2?!)

So Dakar Desert Rally is pretty cool. Only had a short time with it but it’s just about what I expected.
New Dakar game coming tomorrow. Time for another solo podcast with me wittering on about it I think!

I feel like I haven’t had a day off in months. Bit of tidying and bit of relaxing today - todays vinyl is top.

Someone I knew was on the front page of the daily Mail when thatcher died. Can’t wait to see which of the junkyard makes it this time.

Had no time for Dreamcast stuff lately as my wife and I have been slowly turning our front room into the Addams Family-Esque space we dreamt of. Coming along alright so far.

Picking up some of my all time favourite albums on vinyl. Life changing this one was.

Box of sonic stuff. How I have a box of sonic stuff when I’ve unpacked 4 of them already is beyond me.

Thought I’d moved most of my stuff to new house. Just been in the loft and there’s 32 boxes of stuff to bring round. My ability to accumulate absolute crap is amazing.

Hired a van to move the rest of the house over. One load down and I’ve probably lost a stone in sweat already.

Bought possibly the worlds largest fan earlier, had to endure envious eyes from the shoppers at Sainsburys carrying it out; sat with my feet in a bowl of water for the last couple of hours. It’s still too hot.
Have an 8 hour shift starting soon. 🙃
Tickets for the first gig I’ve been to in… fucking years, have just arrived. Gama Bomb and Hellripper. Should be a good one!

Ive gone a bit tattoo mad the last few weeks, but am now seriously eyeing up a Dreamcast tattoo. It was inevitable.

Just messaged the wife to ask if I can buy a full suit of armour for the living room. I believe she may be sick of my shit by now.

Virgin broadband up and running, half the dc collection over, two rooms painted… success at the new house. 100 kg wardrobe currently led on its front with absolutely no chance of me and the wife lifting it… not so much.

This is quite possibly one of the greatest albums ever made. Old Nick - Ian Vampire Castle. In fact, everything on Grime Stone records is, honestly, a work of absolute genius.
Inspired by my fellow junkyarders recent picture, and seeing as I was on my way past to book a tattoo!

Had to explain to several people yesterday that yes, that is my Sonic the Hedgehog rug, and yes I am a fully grown adult man with a sonic rug. I don’t care.

I haven’t got any of these reAction TNG figures yet - but this surely is a must buy.
