When the hell did #Bangladesh became so rich to afford @SpaceX services or it just @isro rejected to launch it?

Bangladesh didn't select ISRO because GSLV MK3 can carry only 4000KG payload where Bangbandhu-1 is 3500 KG and by far MK3 had 2 launches only which also costs same as a Falcon. And yeah our economy is now considered one of the fastest growing in the world with 7-8% GDP growth.

Sounds great brother... Wishing you a successful launch.

Bangladesh is new to space, we need a South Asian Space agency that consists of India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka & other SAARC countries. Only then we can make much better rockets of own and show the world what we are capable of, Like ESA.

If you haven't heard about this already, please read:https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/modis-space-diplomacy-puts-india-into-new-orbit/articleshow/58442281.cms …

Yeah I heard about it. Although it was not completely free as the media described, Bangladesh got 1 transponder and we appreciate. I expect a South Asian Space Agency by 2025, any longer than that will be not effective as the space era is moving faster. What do you think?
-
I'm more worried about space wars that would result in destroying one others already in-space Sats... According to my sources, GNSS Sats are first target. We can think about new launches once existing ones achieve safety. Sounds like fiction but not entirely.

Space wars wont effect us much I think as we don't have rich military presence in Space. Let's hope it won't happen.
