Can you catch the fairing???
Not true, Musk has made it so it won't burn. They're trying to catch the fairing in a large boat. It won't work but at least they tried right
Will we see 1st stage landing?
just trying to recover the nose cone, rest is expendable, probably too fast and heavy
Mr. Musk says the titanium grids are expensive.
that one's been flown before, too, could be older rocket, SpaceX is using a newer version, maybe another reason
Totally enjoyed Falcon Heavy launch & recovery a few months ago.
Took 6 minutes for us to hear the sound of the launch from Santa Barbara to Vandenberg.
Why is the 1st stage landing “simulated”?
They aren't planning on saving the first stage. They won't try more than two launches with a used stage until block 5.
Not enough David Bowie
What is, as the webcast described, a "simulated landing" with the first phase?
I had the same question.
