Thanks! Space X should always add space timi, ihmo

Or GMT (in
@EliteDangerous that´s the Galactic Mean Time in the year 3303)
-
That's silly. A multiplanetary civilization would probably have an interplanetary time standard measuring seconds since some fixed epoch (like Unix time) since each planet would have a different rotational period.

Will you be landing the falcon 9?
-
They won't be landing but will be attempting fairing recovery!
-
I, umm, don’t understand -
The fairing is the nosecone at the top of the rocket. Falcon 9's costs about $6 million. They will be attempting to recover at least half of it by catching it in a huge net on a fast boat. Pretty cool.
-
Got it! So the rocket/launch won’t be re-landing but the nose cone will (hopefully).
-
Exactly! It's experimental. They came close last time they attempted it. This will be their 2nd serious attempt. Eager to hear how it goes.

Why 7.13, is there a technical aspect to timing??
-
I'm no rocket surgeon, but I'm guessing the instantaneous launch window is so that they can achieve a specific circumpolar orbit.
