"Flight-proven" is the new "certified pre-owned".

Why do you have to say "flight-proven" do you launch rockets that aren't flight-proven?

Flight proven, in this case, means they are reusing a previously launched rocket, as opposed to launching an entirely new one as most other companies have to do.

Yup -- most flight configurations of "standardized" boosters and upper stages have to be customized either via fuel loading/valving changes (longer/shorter duration flights based on payload mass, etc.), and as thus are flown as a "configuration", rather than being flight proven.

It’s floating! :) This is floating somewhat near the Marianas Trench; the deepest body of water on the planet. It’s a hollow metal hull, so it will float like a boat as long as it’s undamaged. The salt water will corrode the engines, though. :(
