Bummer, why no first stage recovery? Got too many building up in the hangar?.. ;-)
Wait for falcon heavy :)
Tbh watching the Falcon Heavy might be a little too much for me to cope with!
I always get emotional when I see SpaceX launches. This time it will be 3x emotional
There isnt recovery of first stage?
I just heard that this first stage is past its life so they’re not recovering it.
They already have too many block 3 cores, they need to save room for block V's. Which is the final iteration of the Falcon 9 that can fly hundreds or thousands of times.
I'm not entirely sure, but they are launching their Falcon Heavy(first launch EVER) next week! Be on the look out, you won't want to miss it!
Amazing that we live in a time where we can watch a rocket launch in real time from a camera on said rocket.
Wow you type fast.
@elonmusk Congratulations Elon. All that hardwork, sacrifices, heartaches and pain is paying off. Thanks for helping make the world a better place. Roaster orbit around Mars, is almost there. Novena prayers, daily mass, daily rosary- we need all the help we can get. God bless.
@SpaceX -Why choose to not have first stage recovery this go’round? If the goal is 1000s of launches long term? Was it the payload? The distance? Was it even an option? Inquiring minds and all... Beautiful liftoff sequence, as always! Well done.
It's a block 3 version. They are building and testing their block V. They already have 20+ less than block V cores. These less than block V versions can only launch a handful of times.
Interesting! Thanks for the info. I’ll look it up, see what I can find out about this Block 3.
