Do you ever get tired of being left out in space? Does it seem like elon keeps making empty promises to bring you back home? Why is 1st stage treated so much better than you?
-
I've got a job to do. It's much harder to come back home from an orbital trajectory than a suborbital one (
@F9FirstStage). Still... I'd like to come home sometimes.
-
you come home, but toasty :)
-
But they don't come rescue me.

-
So, novice rocket enthusiast here. What actually happens to 2nd stage? Burns up or just lands in the ocean and is left there to pollute?
-
I'm deorbited after mission completion, to burn up and have my ashes scattered over the ocean...

And forever in our hearts

Can you live stream them replacing the sensor instead? Need something to watch at work.
-
I’d watch that. I’d pay ten bucks to watch that. I’d call in sick to watch that. Admittedly, I have a severe case of Spacex-itus.
-
Yeah. I’m not sure Spacex realizes how obsessive some of their fan base is. They could charge a good amount for 24/7 coverage of the most mundane of SpaceX activities. Like a livestream of the Spacex cafeteria, for instance.
