@NASASpaceflight LOOK AT THAT IMAGE OF THE RAPTOR TEST STAND!!!

-
Absolutely, but the message is more important in that tweet.
-
Yes of course, but that is an extra nugget.

@SpaceX great picture but it is a shame that the gender balance is so off. We need more women in STEM. -
I think these are all spacex employees that are veterans. The size is too small to be the entire staff.
-
Not to mention the president and COO is amazing and a woman.

Thanks to all who have sacrificed. My father Don served for Canada in WWII and Korea. His brother William was shot down in a bomber. His brother Jack was a POW. I have lived my life in peace thanks to them. Thanks to all at Spacex for turning dreams into metal.

A growing fleet of BFRs for Earthbound flights & flights to the Moon, Mars & Asteroids could also mean a growing demand for veterans, especially pilots & airforce experts in the next decade. Daily ballistic flights to many celestial bodies will be a reality a few years from now.
-
No pilots needed for BFR...you don’t need a pilot for falcon 9 too!

-
But there were pilots on the Apollo progamme... I guess the equation changes as soon as you got to land a manned mission somewhere, and someone occasionally has to make critical decisions, what do you think?
-
Apollo was over 45 years ago!! There was an interview were elon talked about pilots on bfr..he said, that it is mire important to habe engineers on the way to mars than pilots
-
Sure, I agree. But if I was a retired airforce pilot thinking that I could pass the rigorous health tests required, I would send my resumee
@SpaceX next year, just to be right at the top of the waiting list & just 2 be on the safe side since Moon colonization could commence 2019.
