Last one until august though, gotta get SLC-39A ready for Falcon heavy and SLC-40 repaired

No, they'll get more in between now and CRS12. Pad 39A will only be taken offline when SLC-40 is up and running.

I am literally watching a Falcon launch more regularly than I am taking my local bus.

As a SpaceX fan and a bus driver.... perhaps ride your local bus a >little< more often? 😁

I try to ride the bus more when I'm in my college town, not so much in my home town. Not nearly as great public transport here!

Here it costs me $2 for a 2 hour bus pass, and getting downtown (2 miles or so), takes 30 minutes. In Missoula it's free and so much faster!

It would have been *less boring* to see what sort of heating they could survive in order to locate the *floor* of the recoverable region .

Problem is there is not enough fuel for reentry, given payload mass and target orbit
