I aways ask to my self it.. Just second small boat. And also it preserve transmission equipment of any accident occurs saving money. It could be corded, 100 meters is enough I think. Almost no additional cost.

Good try, but the airship has much inert in the air to move fast enough to catch the fairings. Fast boats like Mystery and Mischief are much nimbler, safer, and cheaper.
