Here's the million dollar question: Is the falcon heavy center core interstage metal, instead of the black heatshielded composite we see on B5, because of structural reasons? @elonmusk
Interstages are all made out of aluminum and carbon fiber. The black you see on Block 5 Falcon 9 boosters is not from any of them it is due to the TPS (thermal protection system) material they put on top of the structure to protect it.
When is the launch? Hearing mixed reports.
It’s supposed to be Tuesday at 6:36pm EDT but there is a 70% no go so it could be Wednesday with a 20% no go. If neither of those work then we could be waiting
