I think they should adopt the approach similar to what is used in the airport terminals - those gate arms have flexible walls and retractable floors. Kinda stuff something like this up at the arm exit to the spacecraft. Any thoughts? Cc

I like how it retracts the opening/doorway well away from the plume. Sure, no brutal solids to deal with, but Shuttle's CAA on 39A (and B) sure got it "in the face" by retracting "into" the FSS. Someone's certainly done their homework at SpaceX.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o74TNJ-tmK0 …
