Only 24 humans have been to the Moon in history. No one has visited since the last Apollo mission in 1972. http://spacex.com/webcast

Why do we climb mountains, sails the seas, and cross great nature divides..to explore, learn, and expand our civilization.

Overbloated NASA,, this is private so much more streamlined..plus no political implications. plus good test for Mars missions.

The reason no one has been back is there has been to political or scientific desire until recently. Also I would not call NASA bloated. Their funding sucks over all. The US military is bloated.

        Apollo 8 (3) Apollo 10 (3) Apollo 11 (3) Apollo 12 (3) Apollo 13 (3) Apollo 14 (3) Apollo 15 (3) Apollo 16 (3) and Apollo 17 (3) . I believe that equals 27, not 24 doesn't it?

Jim Lovell (Apollo 8 and Apollo 13), John Young (10 and 16), Eugene Cernan (10 and 17) each flew to the Moon two times.

Sucks when people call you out doesn’t it for a mistake? Perhaps you should take this into consideration before trying to publicly shame someone next time.

I don't believe there was any malicious intent. Robert honestly thought that there have been 27 astros who have flown to the Moon (3 astros per mission, 9 missions total). That 3 men each got to go to the Moon 2x is easy to forget bec all those happened nearly 5 DECADES ago.

I was 9 years old at the time of the first lunar landing. I'm a little embarrassed though because I was a keen follower of the Apollo program but I totally forgot about the repeat travellers.

I honestly doubt many recall all the Apollo astros. Though if NASA's education efforts go full throttle - with help from mainstream media - they could begin reintroducing them to folks. 🤞🏼🤞🏼50th anniv of Apollo 8 is this Dec.
