USSF is utilizing current Army/Air Force uniforms, saving costs of designing/producing a new one. Members will look like their joint counterparts they’ll be working with, on the ground.

Sorry for the question but why do we need camo in space?
-
We don’t. Space Operators are on the ground, on Earth working with joint partners like the
@usairforce and@USArmy. Hence utilizing their uniform. - 10 more replies

How many trees are you expecting to find in space
-
As we've stated: we're not deploying operators to space. Only our assets like SBIRS, GPS, AEHF, etc. are in space. We're currently utilizing the existing Army/Air Force OCP uniform pattern as we assign/transition USAF personnel to Space Force.pic.twitter.com/YSNeNVaD1M

Wait. This is real? You’re actually making a “space force”?
-
Space Force was “made” or established with the NDAA signing on 20 Dec 2019.
