Can anyone tell me what the difference is between buying something made in a third world country and buying something made by third worlders on American soil

Labor laws. Quality laws. Less environmental damage. American-made is less likely to lie about product ingredients. Tariffs. Money paid to an American company with American factories is more likely to stay in America.

Less environmental damage sure but I think when dealing with most companies who manufacture overseas (not guys drop shipping shit from China) materials and quality concerns aren’t really important.

Money paid to American companies with American factories is kind of beside the point because my tweet is about those same companies hiring large numbers of people who aren’t ethnically American.
