  15. HB 3979 and SB 3 have yet again shown the effects of obscuring our history. From recent events, we can see how these unjust laws are wreaking havoc on teachers as they try to implement them. Recently, a teacher was reprimanded for having an anti-racist book in her class (1/2).

    False, old, tired argument. Equity does not guarantee outcomes. Equity attempts to ensure equal opportunity. As long as people are unwilling to look at racism and bias, equal opportunities do not exist. Playing field is limited to those with power and privilege.
