    This is my cousin Carson Hadwin (14yo) - he is MISSING and was last seen 2:30pm Sun at Sun Peaks. He caught the shuttle up but never came home. He was wearing a white coat, with green shapes. Black pants, black helmet, and white snowboard boots. SAR has looked all night.

    Pleased to support Chilliwack Rotary and their Pints for Polio Fraser Valley Brewery. This is a particularly special cause for me as my mother encountered polio as a young child and left her with a significant lifelong disability. Thank you Rotary for all you do.

    Tweets like this sometimes do more harm than good unfortunately. Case in point below. Nobody in Hope would have noticed this closure (most likely), but this seemingly robot-written tweet/press-release now has my attention.

    For precautionary safety reasons the Hope RCMP detachment is closed to the public for the remainder of the working day. Detachment employees are safe and there is no danger to the general public. Police officers in Hope remain on duty to respond to calls for service.
