I am 100% stopping at 6 languages I honestly can't express how much I admire all you guys who speak multiple languages to a decent level It is a juggling act that I can't keep up! How many languages do you want to speak in your lifetime?
For me it’s about people and culture. The real fruit comes after many many years. The 5 year mark in mandarin is when I was comfortable enough to notice real nuance in thought and speech. Then more years of exploring thereafter. Not sure I can do more than 3-4.
