People who proudly say things like "Even natives have trouble passing this language test!" are accidentally pointing out the problem. Natives cannot do it because it is absolutely irrelevant to native ability and language acquisition.

Yeah, but once you reach the point of beeing able to read a novel without problems and understand complicated thought concepts, the effort to get JLPT ready won't be that much to add onto. At least that's how I view it. But it is just a CV paper tbh
