You can potentially reuse your systems, assets etc Soul. Sunk cost fallacy gets us all at some point.

True. Need more points of input on if there is still more to be done first though. Too inexperienced to really know, which is part of why I'm still holding out. Looking for some outside expert opinions on it though!

I see some reviews say it's Pummel Party (which I haven't played), + the boardgame part I assume. That's what you're competing with, and Pummel Party is marginally cheaper. If you're making a game 'heavily inspired' by other games, it's all about execution.

Working on improving the clarity of the hook. Our game is actually vastly different, but the setup makes it feel too similar I think. Next thing I'm trying is a new tutorial to teach the gameplay better, a demo, and new store assets. What do you mean by cheaper by the way?

The price is cheaper on Steam for me. The non-random boardgame part sounds cool, though from the trailer I'm not sure how that actually plays. Maybe you could rip out parts and make a smaller scope, more focussed experience, and polish the art to the level of Pummel Party etc

Actually using these mechanics to make a puzzle game. So far feedback on that has been super good. Made it as a tutorial / single player experience for now. Cheaper.. hmm US price is the same and using the same default steam ww prices. I'll look at that!

Ah weird. Must just be my region conversion. PP is $19.95, PA is $21.50
