Well I don't have followers, so eh lol. But if I did, and I wasn't doing a solid job to distance myself from that behavior or condemn it, then yes, it would be fair to blame me for it. Lack of condemnation serves as implicit endorsement.
I don't think it is harassment, but it harassing behavior. The subtle distinction being that one is targeted, the other is not, but both are derisive. I wouldn't expect everyone in his audience to understand that distinction, and I don't think he does either. But he doesn't care.
