    I don’t think you can’t mourn or love people who did bad things. But you can’t pretend they didn’t do them. ESPECIALLY if you are a person of faith. Do you believe they will be judged for their Earthly sins after they pass or no? Why are they precluded from discussion then?

    I understand everyone is grieving but people are just lying to themselves at this point. We weren’t allowed to bring it up EVER. Not during his Oscars run. Not during the MeToo movement. Not during the ESPYs honoring not EVER. Like STOP. It was “stop dredging his past.”

    I think Leslie brought up a salient point. Why ask now? There was ample amount of time and opportunity to ask Kobe, his friends and family these questions when he was alive. I, however, don’t think it was wrong for Gayle to ask the question.
