OTOH, prog gatekeepers, among them Nato and @EskSF made efforts to punish me for caring not at all for the people who consider themselves important in the local political establishment.
They still complain that I’m “divisive”. No one complains Peskin is divisive. Hm.

I really don't find the mods inspiring at all on an ideological level, but the progs if anything less inspiring: just a political machine who will allow anybody to be part of the team (essentially conservative west-siders, and even ghouls like Dennis Richards) if you play nice

"Mods" = moderates? But yeah, there's a culture of brown-nosing among the prog crowd that they'll never admit to but is quite obvious when seen from the outside. Wouldn't be so bad if it didn't get in the way of being able to talk about certain things more openly.

Who are the mods in SF?
-
The Mayor, not only this mayor, but structurally the Mayor is a “mod”, and anyone who has been burned by Aaron Peskin. That last criteria used to be a joke I made but it’s actually kind of true.
