Pen tool (and well, basically everything else) is still incomplete/subject to change so expect to see even more development of these tools.

You can add curves with the pen tool. Neglected to show it off in the main video, so here's a demo of that in action!
You can curve a new line by dragging after placing it. You can also undo your placed points if you make mistakes.
