I made a list of L2 protocols that can (at least in theory) apply to #Bitcoin.
Is anything missing from the list?
Note: altcoins don't qualify!

It looks like some kind of federation to me, though I can't say I really understand it.

It needs to be able to function without an altcoin. You can't prevent anyone from issuing altcoins anywhere, including on top of Bitcoin.

Interesting in theory, but I'd need to see some evidence that there's a viable path towards implementation.
Afaict it's only useful over LN, and my attempts of sketching out a design all ended up conflicting with routing.
Maybe I could add a "has potential" category.

I was going to say “something around anchoring single use seals”, but i think that would fall under “proof of publication”
