I checked that and came here using the link at the end. It was exactly what I needed. However aren't some tweaks required to stake on mainnet? Again, noob here, sorry.

Theses guides are for the Medalla testnet. I haven't published any mainnet guides yet. Strongly suggest you try staking against Medalla first so you can get a feel for the setup/process without risking your funds.
