Hey there! Depends on what it is. If all players need to know about it (say the ball in Lucio Ball game mode) then it’s server side. @erin_catto is our physics programmer and the best person to speak to about this.

thanks. But what about bullet collision / hit detection ? Is that calculated server side or do clients do that ?

Hit detection is done on the server when it matters for game play rules (e.g. affects player health). If you shoot some debris (like a bucket), that is only happening on the client.
